How to Play Craps
Pair
‘O’ Dice

What’s the
meaning of life? A
question often asked. The
answer is pair-a-dice. Not
the tropical island, or being with your lover.
Life is a crapshoot.
Numbers. Ups
and downs. Camaraderie.
War. All
these take place at the horseshoe-shaped tables in the
casinos.
Craps is
absolutely my favorite casino game.
Some of the best experiences in my life have come at
the crap tables and I think that everyone should feel the
excitement of hot dice at least once in their lifetime.
The game appears
to be complicated and confusing, but once you learn the
basics, craps is an easy game to play.
After all, the casinos want the games to be easily
understood. You
can bet for the dice to win, called DO or RIGHT betting, or
you can bet against the dice, called DON’T or WRONG betting.
I’m not sure how the term “wrong” came about—it
is neither incorrect nor immoral betting against the dice,
although there are players that may argue this. Some consider the DON’T player to be betting with the
casino, which is not true.
The house only books the money, RIGHT or WRONG.
Most crap players bet RIGHT and frown upon WRONG
bettors. If the table is “cold,” however, betting WRONG may just
be the best bet. Personally,
I prefer betting RIGHT.
